The Nine Muses
The Nine Muses are the daughters of Zeus, king of the gods, and Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory. Each muse presides over her own sacred art or science, and will come to the aid of those who call her, filling them with divine inspiration.
To invoke a muse is an ancient and sacred rite, exercised by the likes of Homer, Dante, Vermeer and Milton through the centuries.
Each muse in our collection is carved from an original 1832 illustration, upon a pendant with our signature molten gold raised rim.
