The signet ring is one of the oldest forms of personal jewelry. In ancient Rome and Greece, they were worn as seals of identity, pressed into wax to authenticate documents and mark ownership. They were objects of power, worn by people who understood that what you chose to carry on your body said something about who you were. The Common Era rings collection works within that tradition. Goddess rings cast with portraits of Athena, Aphrodite, Artemis, Hecate, and Medusa. Zodiac signet rings engraved with alchemical seals drawn from a 17th-century manuscript.
