The Sagittarius Alchemical Zodiac Signet Ring draws from a 17th-century alchemical manuscript, where it was described as one of the most potent sigils in the art. The seal was to be forged in pure tin, unmixed with any alloy, at the moment the Sun entered Sagittarius in November and under the hour of Jupiter, the planet of wisdom and dominion.
Its engraving was prescribed for the waxing Moon, again in Jupiter’s hour, binding the talisman to the expansive power of its ruling planet. The manuscript instructed it be hung from a silver ring and kept scrupulously clean, ensuring its virtue remained intact.
In antiquity, this sigil was revered for its commanding force. It was said to shield and strengthen its bearer, confound adversaries, and leave doubters “amazed and speechless.” It was also believed to fortify body and spirit alike, a charm of resilience and restored balance—though tradition warned it should be set aside during acts of intimacy, moments thought to diminish its power.
