The Taurus Alchemical Zodiac Signet Ring is inspired by the precise instructions of a 17th-century alchemical manuscript, where its creation was bound to strict celestial timing. The seal was to be forged from a blend of copper, zinc, iron, and gold, melted and shaped at the exact moment the Sun entered Taurus in early April. Both the crafting and engraving were to be completed within this narrow astrological window, lest the talisman lose its virtue.
The text further prescribed that the Moon stand in the tenth degree of Taurus when the sigil was first applied, amplifying its bond to the sign’s steady and grounded nature. To meet such fleeting alignments, iron stamps were advised, so the symbols might be swiftly impressed before the hour slipped away.
In antiquity, the Taurus Seal was revered as a charm of stability and strength. It was believed to steady the spirit, instill calm determination, and anchor its bearer against the turbulence of fortune.
Reimagined as a signet, the Taurus Seal carries this enduring legacy: a talisman of patience, perseverance, and inner strength, embodying the unyielding essence of the Bull.

All pieces except for made-to-order solid gold will ship within 24 hours on business days.
Solid gold orders ship from our NYC studio and the time to ship is indicated above the "Add to cart" button on those pieces.
Why don't you make rings in Gold Vermeil?
While we love the affordability of vermeil, it's not an ideal metal for rings because our hands are exposed to so much wear and tear.
Vermeil necklaces can last 2 - 3 years with proper care, but we've never seen a vermeil ring last more than 6 months.
We would be wrong to sell these rings to you in anything but solid gold.
