The Scorpio Alchemical Zodiac Signet Ring is drawn from the detailed instructions of a 17th-century alchemical manuscript, where it was described as a talisman of protection and resilience. The seal was to be forged of pure iron when the Sun entered the fifth degree of Scorpio, with Mars in its celestial house of Aries. Its engraving was prescribed for the hour of Mars, binding it to the planet’s fierce dominion.
In antiquity, this sigil was revered for its extraordinary defenses. It was said to shield against poison and venom, repel serpents and scorpions, and guard soldiers in the chaos of battle, granting courage and clarity. Beyond the field, it was credited with healing virtues, soothing diseases of the skin and even driving away flies when suspended nearby—its protective aura thought to extend over all who dwelt within its reach.

When will my order ship?
All pieces except for made-to-order solid gold will ship within 24 hours on business days.
Solid gold orders ship from our NYC studio and the time to ship is indicated above the "Add to cart" button on those pieces.
Why don't you make rings in Gold Vermeil?
While we love the affordability of vermeil, it's not an ideal metal for rings because our hands are exposed to so much wear and tear.
Vermeil necklaces can last 2 - 3 years with proper care, but we've never seen a vermeil ring last more than 6 months.
We would be wrong to sell these rings to you in anything but solid gold.
Does your jewelry come in a box or a pouch?
Both! Our packaging is made in Chicago and consists of a peach-colored vegan suede pouch in a branded box, so they’re easy to wrap up as gifts.
