The Scorpio Alchemical Zodiac Pendant is drawn from the detailed instructions of a 17th-century alchemical manuscript, where it was described as a talisman of protection, strength, and resilience. According to the text, the sigil was to be crafted when Mars rules the year, specifically when the Sun enters the fifth degree of Scorpio, with Mars positioned in its celestial house of Aries. Traditionally, it was forged from pure iron, engraved during the hour of Mars.
This ancient seal was believed to offer extraordinary protective powers, particularly against poisons, venomous bites, and diseases caused by toxins. About Gold Vermeil
Gold Vermeil, pronounced ver-may, is a french term for a style of gold plating that is regulated by the federal government. Unlike "gold plated" jewelry, vermeil must always be on a solid 925 sterling silver base - rather than brass - with at least 2.5 microns thickness of gold. This is 3 times thicker than normal gold plating.
This makes vermeil a longer lasting product than gold plated jewelry, as well as more valuable because it's composed entirely of precious metals.
