The Aquarius Alchemical Zodiac Pendant is faithfully inspired by the detailed instructions of a 17th-century alchemical manuscript, where it was described as a talisman of protection, clarity, and resilience. According to the text, this sigil was to be crafted when the Sun enters Aquarius, typically in January, using a precise mixture of gold, lead, and iron, melted and formed in the hour of Saturn, Aquarius’ ruling planet.
The engraving was to occur when Saturn occupied the Ninth House of Heaven, with the sigil's symbols and words carefully etched in a specific sequence. Once completed, the seal was to be applied only when the Sun had set below the Earth and during Saturn's hour, ensuring it was infused with its full celestial power.
This ancient talisman was believed to possess extraordinary virtues. It was said to protect against cold diseases, muscular contractions, and shriveled sinews, serving as a remedy for ailments associated with Saturn’s chilling influence. About Gold Vermeil
Gold Vermeil, pronounced ver-may, is a french term for a style of gold plating that is regulated by the federal government. Unlike "gold plated" jewelry, vermeil must always be on a solid 925 sterling silver base - rather than brass - with at least 2.5 microns thickness of gold. This is 3 times thicker than normal gold plating.
This makes vermeil a longer lasting product than gold plated jewelry, as well as more valuable because it's composed entirely of precious metals.
