100% recycled solid gold

Handcrafted in New York

Fairly made, fairly priced

Elemental design meets the ancient spirit of the garnet in this timeless piece. A deep, rich rhodolite garnet is embraced by a sinuous gold setting, reminiscent of molten metal shaped by the earth’s forces. The stone’s deep crimson hue has been treasured for centuries, symbolizing strength, protection, and vitality.

The history of garnet stretches back to ancient civilizations, where it was revered for its fiery color and protective qualities. In Ancient Egypt, garnets were prized as amulets for the afterlife, symbolizing life force and protection. The Greeks and Romans also held garnet in high regard. In Greek mythology, the garnet was linked to Persephone, representing the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Roman soldiers often wore garnets, believing the stone could bring victory in battle and protect them from harm.

Throughout the Middle Ages, garnet became a symbol of warrior strength and divine protection. Crusaders adorned their armor with garnet, trusting its reputed ability to ward off danger and illness. The stone was also believed to bring clarity and truth, shedding light both physically and metaphorically in times of darkness. It was even said that Noah used a glowing garnet to illuminate the ark’s way through the flood.

The organic, fluid form of the gold setting mirrors the natural rhythms of the earth, creating a piece that feels both eternal and contemporary. Every curve and detail of the pendant reflects an understated elegance that transcends time.

A quiet statement of refined craftsmanship, this piece carries with it the weight of history and the beauty of nature, designed for those who appreciate meaning and artistry in equal measure.

Why Solid Gold ✨

Solid gold is the best option if you:

1. Want to wear your piece forever or pass it down as an heirloom. Solid gold will last for centuries without degrading.

2. Want to invest in jewelry as an asset rather than an accessory. Gold traditionally appreciates in value and can always be melted down and made into a new piece

Unlike many brands, our gold is never hollow - it is always 100% solid, cast using the lost wax method, meaning there is a lot more gold in each piece.

Our gold is 100% certified recycled and each piece is handcrafted here in New York.

FAQ

When will my order ship?

All pieces except for made-to-order solid gold will ship within 24 hours on business days.

Solid gold orders ship from our NYC studio and the time to ship is indicated above the "Add to cart" button on those pieces.

Why don't you make rings in Gold Vermeil?

While we love the affordability of vermeil, it's not an ideal metal for rings because our hands are exposed to so much wear and tear.

Vermeil necklaces can last 2 - 3 years with proper care, but we've never seen a vermeil ring last more than 6 months.

We would be wrong to sell these rings to you in anything but solid gold.

Does your jewelry come in a box or a pouch?

Both! Our packaging is made in Chicago and consists of a peach-colored vegan suede pouch in a branded box, so they’re easy to wrap up as gifts.
